Mixed Development Site At Bidadari
A mixed commercial and residential land parcel in the upcoming Bidadari housing estate – whose scheduled sale last year was deferred – was launched for sale by the Housing & Development Board (HDB) on Monday.
The Upper Serangoon Road plot is next to Woodleigh MRT station and is the first sale site at Bidadari, The 2.54 hectare site can yield 825 private homes.
The development on the site will also include a commercial bridge across Bidadari Park Drive towards Bidadari Park, and an underpass to connect to a bus interchange in Woodleigh Village BTO.
The total 89,043 square metres of gross floor area for the site includes 53,426 sqm for residential development, 6,000 sqm for the community club, 2,190 sqm for the neighbourhood police centre, 15,000 sqm for shops and restaurants, with the remainder for commercial uses.
Analysts expect the site to draw keen interest from developers, given its attractive location and potential demand from prospective homebuyers.
